Joint planning of distributed generations and energy storage in active distribution networks: A Bi-Level programming approach

In order to improve the penetration of renewable energy resources for distribution networks, a joint planning model distributed generations (DGs) and storage is proposed an active network by using bi-level programming approach in this paper. model, upper-level aims seek optimal location capacity DGs storage, while lower-level optimizes operation devices. To solve improved binary particle swarm optimization (IBPSO) algorithm based on chaos developed, achieved through alternating iterations between two levels. The simulation results PG & E 69-bus system demonstrate that presented manages reduce deviation caused uncertainties DG outputs remarkably voltage profile operational economy systems.
